For those of you who receive marketing emails from Derby House, keep an eye out for a rug offer they have on until tomorrow.

600 denier, heavy combo reduced from £129 to £30. I have taken the opportunity, never had a derby house rug before, but even if it is rubbish and only does one winter it is still a cheap rug !

These are wicked rugs, Bought them for Bridgette this year!
have just indeed taken up this offer for China now too!

Some amazing offers from Derby House in general at the moment. However there customer service is so appalling that I'm very reluctant to order anything from them again ....

Their offers may be fantastic, but their customer service is shocking! Plus add Yodel for delivery into the equation and its a complete disaster. How ever good the offer won't be ordering from them again!

I ordered the medium weight one a few weeks back, it fits lovely and is really nice. The neck actually stays up rather than slipping down like my other more expensive one and the delivery was really fast!!
I also urge you to look for voucher codes if you dont already, you can usually get free delivery or 10% off etc if you search a few different sites. I always do it on anything I buy now. im a cheapskate i know!!!

LOL i kust love the fact that they think their rugs are worth 130 quid in the first place! compare that to a PE or good Horseware rug and they fall VERY short with the specs - no quick release closures, basic cut with shoulder gusset, no wither pads awful buckles that rust and they rip like billyo! i wouldnt bother with DH rugs again none of mine lasted more than a few months - in fact one of mine fell apart literally on a horse that was on individual turnout so not even another horse to rip it. Save your 30 quid and buy something that will last.

I totally agree with you. I am still using the green rambo's with the linen linings, they must be into their 20th winter with just the odd patch and reproof. All my other rugs are Fals and quite old. They were expensive in their day and have repaid me twentyfold.

I would be very annoyed to put one of the above on the feral carthorse and have him destroy it. He can have the £30 one as his first winter coat next year and it either will or will not survive.

I was tempted by this offer when it first some out but was put off by their customer service.

Twice now I've ordered off them this year and both times I've had rubbish customer service - firstly was their offer of £8 exercise sheets, I queried whether they were true to size and was told they were a generous fit so ordered 5. The extra full certainly wasn't big enough for my boyfriends 17hh Id x TB and the cob size was too small for my 14.2 cob so had to send that one back and order a full size.

Then last week I ordered two hats - a JTE skull and a JTE junior showjumper hat. As this was still saying order being processed 5 days after I placed the order (despite it saying that they were available to despatch within 24 hours) I contacted them. They then informed me that the only size 7 hat they had was unsalable when they collected it from the store, they then informed me that the manufacturer was now discontinuing this hat. So I ordered a slightly bigger size and requested a refund for the difference (they actually tried telling me if was the same price, until I queried this also!), then contacted Just Togs direct who informed me that they are not discontinuing the hat!!

So after this I will never order from Derby House again!

was tempted by rug offer but have spent half an hour trying to buy online, payment wont go through so have now given up

I've never had any problems with ordering from Derby House, and I shop there a fair amount too!

I don't need one of these at the moment so won't be ordering, but I've always found their rugs to be pretty good.

I bought some rugs on their 3 for 2 offer in 2011 which were a bargain.

One of my boy's DH turnouts has lasted two winters and my other boy's DH turnout has lasted three winters, worn every day, and both are still going strong!

These rugs are fab, my rug ripper hasnt ripped this one yet in the couple of months shes had it, so ive bought a couple more, good quality and not like the old DH rugs, they are nice quality :)

I used to like the last two years rugs but this years are awful! Rips all over and front clips shearing off, leaving her with a flapping open rug all night. We have probably 12 on the yard and without fail, every single one was ripped in a week, even those with electric fencing and placidly grazing!

Much as I won't shop with them, I did get this thru on my facebook feed. So those of you who do decide to shop with them happy spending!! Think its only valid until midnight tonight so not much time sorry!

Yeah cheap offer but that is really all they arw worth.
Cheap quality.
Rip very easily!
No way are they worth a penny more than £30!

So don't rehoming it as a bargain!
Its a cheap rug, you get what you pay for!
