hi Derby House have a special offer on all their rugs until midnight. They are all reduced to £45.00 + £4.95 postage if you quote DH45. Ive just ordered a £129.99 heavy weight combo should be here Wednesday as in stock. :)

Here we go again!!!!!

There will be a post starting up in a couple of weeks saying that money has been taken out of accounts & nothing has been received. Also that each time you phone the company you get a different excuse & that your emails aren't being answered.

Save your money & time & buy from someone else......... please save us from more Derby House Posts!!!! :(

Theyre rubbish rugs, they never sell any for the genuine price.
Also dont expect to see anything for a long time

The life cycle of a DH offer order:

1) they will take your money straight away telling you everything you order is in stock.
2) you won't get anything
3)You will have to chase them for weeks with no replies to emails etc
4)Finally you get hold of someone (usually after threatening trading standards on their FB page)
5) They will tell you their was a mistake on their website & the rugs you ordered shouldn't have been in the offer. They will offer you a refund that you have to wait nearly a month for & only get after threatening trading standards on their FB
OR
6) you will finally get part of your order a month after ordering it & the rest 2 months after ordering it. The rugs will then fall to pieces within 6 months

Agreed! Derby house is a waste of time. I bought a lot of things when I bought my second horse and it took 8 weeks to come (and came in over 12 deliveries in total) no one would reply. I've never shipped with them again. Appalling customer service and totally rip you off!
Good luck though...!!

I have a DH combo turnout, its ok, decent fabric and lining but rubbish fixings/clips etc

Its a nice enough rug overall - worth maybe £45 but nothing like £129

Enough people gambled and bought them in the very cheap sales in the summer for them to be widely available on ebay currently - at least you have a good chance of getting it that way!

I ordered a HW.. which turned out to be a MW :( but luckily that actually suited me as my horse did a flying karate kick and upon landing ripped his MW in half :p The rugs are great especially for the price IMHO, mine stands up the heaviest of rain for a horse that lives out 24/7, is a good fit apart from being a bit open at the front. My horse is quite good with rugs but has broken a few buckles, and these have withstood his walking through fences etc. Mine came within 2 days.. I do not think they are worth anything close to £129 though! I think £70 would be about the limit on RRP, I bought a knight rider rug for £70 and the fit is terrible, very waterproof but never buying one again and i'd rather pay £70 for DH rug than KR !
