Can anyone give some advice re sizing of DH own-brand rugs please? Looking at a lightweight combo turnout, as a wet-weather alternative to a fly rug for my itch pony. He usually takes a 5'9", on the tightest buckles but I had issues with his withers getting rubbed by a winter combo where the shoulders were a bit low/gaping and the rug slipped back.
Just want to know re the neck/shoulder shapes of these, so I can suss whether to go for a smaller size. Would rather have an inch or two of bum sticking out but the front fitting than a rubbed wither. The joys of growing ponies!
Thanks for any advice...

I've found them true to size lengthwise - but tending to be narrow at the shoulder. They are tight on my wide shouldered 5'9 cob.

You could try a bossy bib to prevent rubbing - worked a treat for us.
