Derby house rugs..

I have a turnout, cooler and stable rug from them for my pony. Have only used the turnout and cooler so far but have found both to be very good neither have ripped or got damaged even with a lot of use over last winter. The cooler washes really well as well and still looks good even after being washed loads.

Only thing I'm not keen on is that especially on the turnout rug the front straps don't seem very good as the material isn't very stiff and personally I don't like that, but they've never come undone or broken so guess thats more a personal preference.

There good for a cheapish rug though and would buy them again.

I bought a DH own brand m/w with neck last year... leg strap broke within 24 hours. Took weeks of dealing with their appalling customer service until they sent a new rug (I asked several times for just a new strap but they were incapable of sending one of those)... strap on neck ripped within 24 hours.

I won't use them ever again. One of the ladies I spoke to said that it was a common problem they were having with their rugs and that it had happened to her too.

I have a lightweight 'Breeze' & also a middleweight. Both are about 3 or 4 years old now & are fine. They're discontinued now though I think.

Iv got a couple of turnouts from them which are fine and well worn, they do the trick and personnally i dont mind them getting a bit ripped when they dont cost over 100pounds its easier to deal with!!

They are worth it for the money you pay, obviously if you have bought the better quality/more expensive rugs in the past, there is a clear difference in the buckles, straps, how long the stitching lasts etc but for the price you can't fault them.

I bought a mid weight full neck from their sale last year and I was very impressed. Survived the hard winter on my cob that usually rips open rugs and for the first year ever I've actually had a winter rug to send to be cleaned and re-proofed!!! Not the best quality closings etc BUT for £30 its great value and will hopefully get me through another winter and you can grumble at that.
