I am so glad I bought these. 20 quid and not the ones with rubber round the base, went up to the fur bit in a puddle today and waded through the shallow river and still bone dry.

I am beyond impressed after thinking they'd be cheap and cheerful and not remotely waterproof!

I've got the Sno Seal boots, which sadly aren't waterproof, but I've remedied that with some rug waterproof spray :D

Whilst I've not had to wade through rivers I love them! My feet are toasty toasty :-)

I've just recieved an email from Derby house, the boots are on offer, at first I thought it was -£20 but its not the boots are all down to £20 with code, I was umming and arrring to get a pair before xmas when they were £20, and I didn't as I couldn't make up my mind which ones I wanted, thanks to seeing both your posts I've gone for the artic now they are on offer again .. many thanks

I wouldn't have paid more than 20 when first received... They feel like a thin piece of cardboard wrapped in material, horibble cheap... But very comfy on, look nice and was very impressed yesterday. Really didn't expect to wear out in rain let alone paddle in them :D

I can't say for the long haul as only just got them... But they were worth 20 just for keeping my feet dry yesterday!

I'd say they come up slightly small though, I phoned up to change to a size larger than I normally squeeze into with country boots and welly warmers and am glad I did (after advice from other HHOs)

PandorasJar, am just looking at the Derby House site, which ones are they please? Only ones I can see that are £20 are the Horze Thermo tall boots?

They're 59 quid I think but there is a code to get a discount for all snow boots at 20. Can't remember code but sure someone can pm you or can Google it.
They're the sno arctic boots.

I bought the North Pole ones in the sale last time and they are very warm but quite clumpy. Are the Arctic boots wide enough to tuck jeans in?

They had to order in my size - took a month so woyldnt be surprised if none in shop.
I have trackies tucked in now and got jeans in but theyre a snug fit not wide. That being said I have quite muscly calves so they probably would be fine for normal people!
