Ordered a Just Togs top as a xmas present from them over a week ago and it still hasn't been despatched.

I really hoped that the improvement wasn't just temporary but it appears that it might have been. :(

I'll have to cancel and order it elsewhere or it may not arrive in time for Xmas!

I have learnt my lesson with derby house. Everytime I have ordered something there is always some kind of problem, delay in dispatch, "no stock left", delaying refunds after cancelling or returning orders. Very quick to debit my account, significantly slower to credit it. Usually find what I need elsewhere online now.

Have you emailed customer services?
Hope it arrives!

Good luck with that! I gave up buying from Derby House after they took months to give me a refund. One of my daughters used to work in a saddlery shop. Derby House took the shop over and customer service went downhill pretty rapidly after that.

I never bought from them again after I ordered a rug in December and didn't get it untill February! By which time I had borrowed another rug and the weather had improved to the point I didn't need it!

All I kept getting was they had issues with stock.

I ordered some boots a few months ago, after 2 weeks I rang them, after many many attempts someone answered and fobbed me off with a stock mistake which wasn't updated on the website, no offer of a refund, kept saying stock would arrive tomorrow, the next day, the day after that. I rang Trading Standards after 3 months of no boots and excuses and they gave me some law to repeat to them which I did and I got my refund. Waste of space, I gave them thousands of pounds when they were a decent company with a good reputation, now they are the complete opposite.

I don't know whether I've been lucky but I've had some great bargains from them and very few problems. I love their breeches and buy some whenever they are on offer. Just got a lovely full seat pair for under £30 and they arrived within 2 days. I don't work for them!!

A friend and customer of mine had issues with them years ago so as far as I am concerned they were bad then so I dread to think what they are like now.
My friend needed a new saddle, I was selling different makes to DH at the time and had nothing I could offer him that might fit and he said liked the saddles DH were selling but his horse was in between sizes.
Just over a medium fit but not quite a wide fit.
DH said they could get a made to measure saddle made up for him so
I templated his horse for him as a favour and went round to fit it when it arrived.
The girth straps were worn/creased telling me that it had been on another horse and not "brand new made to measure" at all, it didn't fit anyway, they sent an off the peg wide saddle!
It got sent back and they were told in no certain terms what he thought of them, total scam.
None of my customers will touch them.

I have never had a problem with them, ever. The most recent purchases have arrived very promptly. Last one was a rug I ordered 3 weeks ago which came the next day.

I've had a few bargains from them in the sales but I'd never order anything I couldn't live without / needed urgently and have expected to wait a few months to get my stuff cos of their rep. Around 80% of what I order generally turns up eventually and the other 20% I managed to get my money back on by ringing them and being annoying. I only tend to order things that are at a bargain price that other websites can't match. Prefer the service at places like equestrian clearance though (they've always been fab and my only regret with them normally is when I only order one of something... got some gorgeous heavily reduced JW jods about 6 months ago and could kick myself for only getting one pair!)

I don't think it's just Derby House - all this Black Friday nonsense has created lots of issues with lots of retailers.

I ordered an exercise sheet from Premier Equine on 01/12 - still waiting for dispatch. They posted on their Facebook page that any orders made that weekend would take 10-14 days to process. It didn't tell me this when I ordered!!

And the same with Robinsons - I ordered a few bits on 02/12. Again, still waiting. But in my experience, they have always been slow to process orders.

So for those that are concerned, fear not - the problem isn't currently exclusive to DH!

I ordered from Derby House several items the other week. They arrived as a couple of separate parcels and money was only taken after each was dispatched rather than one big chunk... but all were with me within a week. Sad to read they aren't reliable- but as I've had a good experience I will use them again.

Perhaps contact them- I can imagine Black Friday sales have sent things a bit crazy. Saying that I ordered on this date and received items ok.

Give them a ring. I swore I wouldn't use them again after a couple of bad experiences but I couldn't resist a couple of cheap rugs (their rugs are superb IME) and they arrived within a couple of days, ordered 3 more rugs a couple of weeks ago and the appeared next day.

Did it say the item was in stock when you ordered it?
