So I ordered from Derby House again this week after hearing they had improved and they actually sent the products out when they said they would,

I have just opened the parcel and found they've sent me an incorrect size in both items!

I tried to order something off the website - they have a new 'log in' system, it wouldn't let me log in, then told me I was already a member! I clicked "send me my password" but it hasn't - so I did it again about 10 times, and no email has come through.

Fine, if they don't want my money, then they don't have to have it.
 
I ordered from them once, paid over the odds for Saturday delivery, goods didn't arrive until Tuesday and in the end weren't the items I had ordered.
They wouldn't refund on the delivery either.
Wasn't impressed with their customer service.

Will not use them again!
 
i ordered on friday and still havent received a confirmation e mail.i rang and they said it had been processed.hope the stuff is ok when it gets here.cos if customer service is anything like in the shop it wont be upto much!
 
I ordered a pair of boots in size 39 and when they arrived one boot was 39 and the other 41... I called and explained that I wanted another pair and to be sure they didn't just send the same ones again. Sent them back, didn't hear anything. Phones after a couple of weeks and they said they thought I wanted a refund and that they would send a new pair. I said again, please make sure you check the sizes as the paper labels were wrong. When they arrived they were still wrong... one 39 and one 41!!! I did get a hugely apologetic call from customer services but I won't be using them again.

Apparently their customer service department can't leave notes or instructions on their system for the returns and despatch departments and they never talk to each other, so if you call customer services and ask for a refund or for any special instructions they never actually communicate it to returns and despatch. Hopeless!
 
I used to use DH all the time a few years ago (when they used to be reliable). It almost seems that their turn to being rubbish came at around the same time as them opening up lots of shops...

I generally use Frogpool now - they have been really reilable and quick with deliveries everytime I have ordered anything. I think they have better range than DH too.

Use to use them all the time, but can't be bothered with the hassle any more. Last time i ordered something it was out of stock, chased them a few times but kept being told it was out of stock and given a different delivery date each time, didn't hear anything for a couple of months so just thought the order must have been canceled, six months later the order turned up, why would i want something six months after it's been ordered, so never used them again.
 
Oh no all this is making me feel uneasy, ive ordered some jods from them and they havent arrived, i put it down to slow post or somthing.. looks like it will be my first and last order from DH!
