Anyone had problems with them? I bought some boots last week but they didnt fit me so I sent them back via royal mail recorded so they'd get them the next day this was on Monday this week. I rang them yestreday and they said they hadnt received them. Im not a happy bunny and I want my money back.

This might not be what you want to hear or everyone’s experiences with Derby house But I think they are fantastic! I had to return a Derby House own brand bridle that failed when my horse spooked (3rd third time of using it) and resulted in a nasty fall as the headstall snapped and bit went through my horses mouth as I went sideways!!!) They sent a courier to collect the bridle and then when they got it back and found the leather had a fault in the grain, they gave me my choice of new bridle! (rather cheekily) I picked a really nice Jeffries one which was substantially more expensive than my first one!!! Will always use them in future, I can give you the email address of the lady who dealt with my problem is so i can PM you she is great and will get it sorted. :D

Cynically I think they came out of that lightly. If their faulty goods caused "a nasty fall" they were probably glad it only cost them another bridle!

I have never had an issue with them - ordered riding boots, they came 2 days later, brushing boots arrived in 4 days, new rug came in 4 days, fly spray in 2 days - never had to send anything back and in store they didnt have the bridle I wanted so they ordered it from another store for me and it came the next day. Still have it a year later and its lovely - ordered a bit for me from another store and that also came next day. Plus I got a Pikeur riding jacket for £60 in their sale :D

OP if you sent registered mail, you will have a tracking number so need to check with Royal Mail that the package has been delivered.

Would not buy cheap brand leather again, have never brought it in the past this was my first and only attempt – but I know I was probably unlucky. (Luckily I was not injured but my poor horse was very upset and was without a bridle for a couple of weeks.)

I've used Derby House a couple of times and found them to be very good and efficient. If the OP has sen the boots back recorded delivery a signature will prove that the parcel has got back to them and they should issue a refund.

Their reputation has been iffy in the past, but I ordered a couple of things from them recently and was very pleased. I thought the stuff hadn't turned up, but actually the courier had left the card in an odd place. Once DH were involved, they were incredibly helpful and my stuff arrived back again from their depot about 36 hours later.

Why blame Derby House? It is Royal Mail delivering, not DH!!
By the way, completely un connected, I too have never had anything but good experiences from DH.
