I am so cross they sent me the wrong jodphurs then said they won't have anymore of the type I wanted for weeks .
NOW I'm told after 2 weeks they don't have the gloves in stock that I ordered over the phone and was told by the lady they would be sent out within the next few days . This happened to my friend with her show jacket and boots she ordered too !!

Please note , I had to contact them asking where they were! They weren't actually going to let me know and were going to keep my money !

What an awful company !!
 
I must be one of the lucky ones! Never had any problems. Bought those sno boots for £3.75. They came up small. Sent them back and they have sent out next size up without charging postage. So basically for the £3.75 they are free now.
Always received everything I've ordered within a week.
 
Must be money, they take orders get your money to pay suppliers...... Wonder if big firms are insisting as accounts not being paid. Not ordered anything... But if I did, credit card. The facebook is riddled with complaints. Watchdog me thinks.
 
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Highlands thoughts are right.

Every time Derrby House have one of these sales it gets blasted across the forum & people buy 2 for £25 & things at less than half price etc etc. There's an old saying 'If something sounds too good to be true then invariably it is' They trade on peoples greed.

Everytime these posts are followed up a couple of weeks later with the usual posts regarding either wrong items being sent, no items being sent, Derby House saying the price on the ordered item was wrong so they can't supply or simply that you cannot get in contact & that money has been taken from your account & nothing has been received or the item is out of stock.

The best course of action is to read all the negative posts, & there have been hundreds, & don't bother wasting your time & money with Derby House. There are plenty of bargains out there with other companies who have great reputations so buy from them.
 
I think it depends how urgently you want the stuff. I wouldn't buy anything on there that I needed urgently, but need the rugs for winter. It's not really greed, but people are just about desperate enough to put up with bad service to get a bargain.

I've always got the stuff I ordered, just often in bits and bobs over a long time.

I do prefer equestrian clearance, they have always been great and quick delivery.
 
They are very quick to respond to customers if you post on their facebook page. I was trying to call them yesterday and couldn't get through. After 15 mins of being on hold and getting disconnected, I put a post on their wall. Less than a minute they phoned me... And I cancelled the order as I was so fed up with them :(
 
I bought some breeches in their sale. The sizing is odd to say the least, my usual size in one type are at least 3 inches too small at the waist and I'll never get them on, but another type fit really well. I really can't be fussed with sending the too small pair back though.

Also, two pairs of the same breeches in different sizes came and they're made of different material from the other.
 
I have bought quite a bit from them in the past and had no problems, even with returning and exchanging. I have been waiting a week and a half for an order which according to my account has been dispatched but still nothing. 3 days ago they said they were contacting the courier for tracking and still nothing, off to ring them in a bit. I wouldn't mind but they have take the money! If the courier has left it on the doorstep, no reason to as can fit through, then i want to complain, if not then where is it!?
 
I ordered some stuff because they were very good with my last order and was publicly and politely keeping a post on how it was going updated on their FB page - having gently reminded them of timings this morning I got an email within 5 minutes telling me the current status and replied that I'd update on FB - because if they can get it right I think it only fair to comment on it. They have deleted my post - seems daft, one of the few people who was going to say "they're trying to get it sorted" and they've deleted it!
