Plenty of Livery yards, but depends what you are looking for. What knid of comp venues are you after, and what discipline

Imho ITS AN AWFUL PLACE,I originate from Derbyshire.

I'm from south of there, not sure what it is like for comps etc that far north, I ride south of derby. Not sure you'd get too many quality livery yards with facilities etc. Should be loads of DIY type places I would have thought. Alfreton isn't the nicest of towns though......

If you can box your horse to competitions you'll find loads closer to derby (around places like etwall, ticknall, ockbrook)or in nottinghamshire, around newark way.

Thanks all, I have never been to Alfreton in my life but a job has come up there that I might be interested in. So areas around there also interesting.
