Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I had a scout about and couldn't see anywhere more appropriate...
I'm looking for the lady/family I bought my mare off. She was from Chesterfield, I think Brimington? Or close to Brimington. The lady was called Amber, either Blackwell, Blackstock...I'm not 100% sure on this, as I can't find her details, but this seems to ring a bell, it may well be right off the mark....she had two daughters, Holly was the eldest if I remember correctly, and the other was called Amelia/Emelia.....
They bought my mare from the riding school they used to ride at. Brimington equestrian centre was mentioned as was a farm, Poplar farm? I know she kept the mare not far from her house.
The mare in question is a 14.2/3hh black mare with no white markings aside from saddle sore scars. She was a riding school pony in the area before they bought her, so if members don't know Amber they might know the mare. I think the mare was put through Newark sales beforegoing into the school, this is what I was told on the pone a couple of years ago by someone who knew her, but they refused to give either a name or number so I couldn't get in touch with them to ask them any more questions.
Does any of this ring any bells with anyone?
The mare is freezemarked VC75 on the saddle area, she was freezemarked in Cambridgeshire in 1997.
