Derma gel-any recommendations or thoughts?

I have a filly with a nasty wound that cannot be stitched and am wondering about using derma gel. Interested in anyones views and experiences....

Great stuff - def. use it. I use Intrasite gel which is similar and works brill on deep wounds.

Intra-sit gel would probably be better for a nasty or deep wound. Where is the wound?

Healed ours after a kick that went to the bone over the knee that couldnt be stitched and it really speeded up the healing and minimsed the scar tissue. Ace stuff.

Intrasite to "pack" the wound. When the wound has healed more, use Dermagel. Worked for me, and no scarring

i use Dermaline instead- it seems to stay on better and give a better coverage.
brilliant stuff and helps even horrid wounds heals really fast.

I love Dermagel, but also am a real fan of Equaide for healing nasty wounds which have trouble scabbing, and it really helps prevent proud flesh.
