oooo, that would be good if you could still get it over there, i imagine you would have a lot of people wanting some sending over - including me!
dam mice ate one of the last tubes i had! (left the sponge, ate through the metal tubing and cleared out the dermobian!)

you can get Ilium Dermapred which is dermobian from the animalpharmacy.com, it's great stuff but not in a tube it's actually in a jar. Hope that helps!

I heard that you could still get it there. I used to use it the whole time - had a comforting smell to it as I knew it was doing the trick on an injured foalio! - If you can get it - DO - Ill buy some!!!

Okay, have I missed something? Is Dermobian Green no longer available from the vet????? I've been using it for past 28 years

Not banned - the licence wasn't renewed in countries as the product didn't make enough money. So its now an unlicenced drug.

You cannot get it now because it is a "combination" drug which the MRVC are not keen on, my vet told me this.

That was what Fort Dodge told me, as I harassed them in different countries trying to get hold of it.

Not quite sure how the MRVC would impact licencing as it is done by the VMD (http://www.vmd.gov.uk/) in the UK and impacted by the EMEA EU legislation

Dermobion green can not be used in animals for slaughter, therefore to licence in this country (and Ireland and Belgium!) was not economical, as even at £40 a pot horse and dog owners are not going to buy enough to make it a viable product and recoup the licence fee.

I have just treated my mare with dermapred (dermobian) and it has cleared her mud fever in 3 days!!!! i have tried everything else and had to order this from the animal pharmacy £25.00 + £15.00 post but still cheaper than the vet and turned up in 5 days!!! make sure you wear gloves if you use it as it is carciogenic!!
