I dont even know you or Dermot and what you have been going through has really affected my life. It makes you think that we should really appreciate what we have every minute of the day, as we dont know when it will be cruely taken away from us. You are both lucky to have met in life and spent the wonderful times you have together. Dermot was one lucky horse to have you as his mum. Having lost a wonderful horse too the only words i have are that it will get easier, but what you and Dermot had will ALWAYS be with you. xxxx
I was in tears to hear this. He fought so bravely and your strength through this has been an inspiration to us all. I'm so sorry he has been taken from you, at least he's not in pain any more. Thinking of you at this sad time, lots of hugs xxx
Coming in late - saw this post last night and couldn't reply for tears, unusual for me. Dermot's story touched alot of us - I'm sorry this didn't turn out how we all hoped.
Oh no, just logged on tonight to see how you and Dermot were doing and am absolutely gutted for you. So so sad, you've been really brave. Thinking of you xx
Im so sorry to read this, i dont know you or dermot but have been following your posts and was completely gutted to see this post.
You dont look very old in the pictures and I cant believe how you have handled this situation with such maturity, i had to have my mare that id had for 12 years pts a couple of years ago and there is no way I could have been as brave as you!
Your parents must be so very proud of your strength.
May Dermot be having the sweetest of dreams now his pains have eased xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
