Can you forum members come to our rescue (well at least some of you!). Yesterday morning we had 16 stewards for our show starting at 8.30 at the Animal Health Trust at Newmarket this Sunday and now we're down to 5! 5 of the original helpers have now decided to compete themselves - three of them will take their horses home after their morning classes and come back to help in the afternoon, two of them can't do it at all because they've been called into work now, 2 of them are competing on and off during the day and are driving a horsebox back and forth between classes for other friends of theirs there competing, and four of them have been offered the chance to go on a yatching weekend so are off to that! So can anyone help us out at all? It's an in-hand charity showing show - with excellent top panel judges so you'd learn a lot if you are a ring steward, or even as a helper running rosettes and trophies into the ring for us. Any time at all you could spare we would be extremely grateful. Ideally we'd love you to be there first thing in the morning for the first class as around that time we're going to be at the busiest, handing out competitor numbers, welcoming judges, etc, but even if you can't get there for 8am, how about a bit later? Even an hour or so would help us out. If you can help all day (we hope to finish around 4/4.30) there will be a free meal and drink for you, or light refreshments in you can help for an hour or two. Anyway, any volunteers? Feel free to PM me or even phone us on 07724 069766. Anyone - HELP!!!!!
