Just got a call from one of the girls at the yard thinking that I was there, asking me to bring a rug over to the field. Her pony has badly hurt his leg, apparently it's stuck right out and he can't put any weight on it, vet is on the way. There's someone over there with her, but I'm stuck at home in between pupils so can't go to help.

Please send vibes for Prince. Obviously I haven't seen him but it doesn't sound good.

Just had a call from his owner.

Vet has been out, and he has an infection in his knee. He's had a major dose of antibiotics and will be reassessed in the morning. If he's no better then I'm boxing him to the veterinary hospital.

Thank goodness it's not a broken leg which is what both I and his owner were thinking.
