Desperate plea for 3.5tonne horseboxes

Does anyone one know of any for sale? I am desperately looking for one in £3000-£5000 region, Kent area must take 2 16.2h. If anyone knows of any I would be very grateful to hear.

Sorry, but I don't think you will find any 3.5t which will take 2 x 16.2hh. They are generally only suitable for one horse without being overweight
 
Sorry it doesnt need to take 2 16.2h really, I have a 16.1h so would need to take that and on the odd time take a friend if needed.
 
Taking the odd friend will still put you over weight though. Have you tried horsedates etc they are normally the best places.

Took me a long time to find one which would carry anything upto 16.2hh. Taking a friend would not be an option witha 16.1 in it, mine has an exceptional payload (1.2ton) and only has 350kg spare when loaded with horse/tack etc, so nowhere near enough to carry a second horse. I also had to up my budget considerably.
 
If you use someof your budget to take your C1 test, you would have a much wider choice of lorries suitablef or 2 x 16.2
Running costs of a 5.5 to 7.5 lorry such as road tax, insurance etc are the same as for 3.5.
 
I actually have a 'box' for sale...but its literally the box that goes on the back of the chassiscab. Basically my chassiscab rotted out and I can't afford to go out and buy a new chassiscab so am selling the box that goes on the back. PM me if interested.
