The perfect horse.
My friend sadly lost her (almost) perfect horse to colic about 3 weeks ago, and since then we have been searching high and low for another horse. We've found a few that look nice, but have rung as soon as we've seen the advert and they already have a deposit on, or have people coming to view that evening, and have subsequently gone.

Is there anyone on HHO that can help? I'm afraid we're a bit fussy!

What we are after is a piebald show cob,
It must be heavyweight as rider is 16 stone.
It must be a gelding, or a mare that will turn out with geldings, (we have 2 other coloured cob geldings (in sig))
Needs to be backed, and sensible.
well marked and good enough to show, (coloured, cob and potentially local working cob classes)
between 4 and 9 years old.
We're willing to travel to look at ones that sound suitable, we have a sensible budget, don't mind putting in a bit of work, and would provide a 5* home on a private yard for life as we are very soft!

Many thanks for reading :)

Please let me know if you have/know of anything suitable

xx

H&H has really cracked down on advertising on the forums recently so I wouldn't be suprised if you don't get any replies

Best of luck with your search :)

Check out Horsequest,

there is a horse about 3/4 the way down the page:

Natures Wonder

Safe but talented HW cob for sale

He looks fab!

Hi all,
thanks for all the suggestions, I have passed them on to the fussy one. I'm a bit worried that some of them might not be chunky enough...?
MontyandZoom, we liked Natures Wonder too, - he's definitely the kind we are looking for, but he was one of the ones we rang about and had already gone out on a trial.
Many thanks, and keep 'em coming!
xx

That's frustrating. I would definately keep an eye on Horsequest, they have lovely show cobs!!

What about Lynn Russell?? She might be worth a phonecall??
