I know I'm on a hiding to nothing but am desperately trying to seek info about a horse I have from Ireland. She is a bright bay mare (makes life even more difficult) about 10 years old approx and about 15hh. She was rescued from a meat man's holding yard in Ireland. Believe she was with him from at least September 2010. She has a tiny white snip on her nose, a faint hint of white on her forehead and one white sock on her right hind.
She came with the wrong passport so cannot trace her that way.
She is the most gorgeous mare I have ever met. So friendly and good to do. Great with other horses - avoids all confrontation. Fantastic with people, she picks her feet up for you before you even get to them, can have her legs hosed with no fuss at all and you can muck out etc underneath her without her even looking at you. She really is that good. She has obviously been extremely well handled. She really loves her stable
Would love to trace her cos she has a problem with her back legs believed to be from an old injury but this is uncertain. This results in her right hind crossing under her quite badly. Her conformation is not great either. She has very obviously been treated well, probably very loved and ridden. Would love to know about her back legs and if it's something she'd had from birth or an injury so we can determine whether she can still be ridden or not.
Does anyone know where I can post information in Ireland to try to find previous owners?
