Desperation setting in.

Soda Crystals are good and cheap just wash out really well as can go scurfy.

Mix with warm water into a paste rub in really well and leave for 10 mins, another scrub and wash off.

Stain remover Ariel vanish etc .
On bleach hypocare for wounds and mud fever and such products are bleach based so perhaps try that .
Very dilute bleach rinsed well is likely to be no more harmful than using things full on enzymes and often mild bleaches as well which is laundry stain removers are .
Experiment with using chalk before the big day it's really good at covering up yellow stains .

Cowboy Magic greenspot remover worked well on our last grey, and we also used the silver shampoo, and the human hair colour spray in white (its like the temporary fancy dress or nightclub stuff) from Boots with success.

I wonder if its worth coating that area in pig oil, conditioner or Vaseline each day to prevent the wee stains taking hold and between now and your event hopefully his coat should have changed enough to disguise it.

Not yet I'm afraid. My parents were away this weekend so I had to go and stay at their house to look after my grandparents and work's been so manic I haven't had a chance to do it in the evenings either. I've bought white vinegar though and ordered a load of Supreme Products stuff but parcelforce lost it so they've re-sent it today. Hoping to have a go with the bicarb and white vinegar tomorrow night!

I use the Arctic White Liquid Chalk from Forest Farmacy. It's amazing!
My cob is also a bit fleabitten and dappled but I just wash as normal (I use the Red Rum Whitening Spray) then rinse, then dab on the liquid chalk with a dry sponge, rug up then brush off when we get to the show.Best of all, my cob is very allergic to lots of harsh shampoos etc and nothing from this :)
