Hi

Just looking for suggestions:

My horse is capable of breaking even the most horse-proof of items, his particular favourite being haynets, which normally last around a week. We also tried a hay ball which lasted around 30 seconds before disintegration.

Unfortunately the layout of his stable doesn't really lend itself to a hay rack, so I was hoping somebody out there could come up with something I haven't thought of.

Please help - I can't afford to go on propping up the haynet industry any longer...

Hi, have you thought about a Hay Bar? I haven't tried one so I can't really recommend it, but I quite fancy one myself as they seem like a good idea. I hate wrestling with nets and he's way too messy to eat from the floor! I think they are quite expensive though.

The ideal would be to just put it on the floor, but he seems to think that if there's just the tiniest piece of bedding in it, then it's contaminated and mustn't be touched.

The Hay Bar looks really good, but it's made of plastic, and I just know he'll eat it. I think I'll have to work out some way of fitting a metal hay rack...
