Deterring Scammers

I'm having a clear out and put a few things on FB marketplace. Obviously scammers are everywhere but its ridiculous, one item had 4 scammers message within half an hour. They're really obviously scams, the current popular scam seems to be saying a friend/relative will collect and then getting really pushy to pay now with paypal. I clearly state cash on collection only. I had some fun at first wasting their time but now I'm fed up of my inbox being full of scammer messages all the time, and I'm worried I'll miss a genuine buyer! Anyone have any tips on deterring them?

Have you posted on a local horsey group on Facebook? Obviously there still might be scammers but I’ve found I’ve shifted my horse stuff a lot quicker on a horse specific group rather than the marketplace.

Yeah I list on local pages too, problem is my local pages get so many posts mine quickly disappears down the page!
