devasted

My thoughts go to you for your pony tomorrow. We think it was a heart attack as there was no sign of disress and my young Welsh sec d was standing guarding him. He was well loved and a happy character, the sort you could just saddle up and go for a happy amble after not riding for weeks. his idea of canter was 4 strides and he'd done enough of high speedand you could stick a young child on his back and know they were save. I still cann't beleive it.

What sad news, I'm so sorry for your loss of such a lovely sounding horse. Not that it will help the pain but a lot of people on here thinking of you. And Lexie 81 I'm thinking of you too tonight.

How awful for you. I hope he didn't suffer in anyway, but still, it must be a dreadful shock, my heart goes out to you.

That really is devastating, one of our horses died 1 night a few years ago, he was fine when we left him that evening, just his usual self, the next morning he was stone dead. He was in his 20's tho, so a good age. It must be even more of a shock when their only 11.

you have my deepest sympathies.

I so understand your pain. I found my 16yr old mare dead in her field in July. She had been superb the night before on our hack and full of beans. A livery had seen her happy as Larry in the field only 20 mins before we found her dead. It truely is devastating and my heart aches for you.

Huge hugs
xx

How incredibly sad, and what a dreadful shock for you. All you can do is try and remember the good times, and what a lucky horse yours was to have such a loving owner for all his life.
