In september last year my horse badly hurt his check ligament, he was on box rest for over 6 months! then all seemed to be getting better when he hurt himself again when he slipped off a stone (he didnt actually reinjure himself but the blood vessel next to the check inflammed) this meant another 4 weeks box rest!! ive finally started to get him back to some normality, + the last few days he has gone lame again!!! im so upset!!! i just want him to come right again!! He was shod last week + doesnt seem to have been right since, i just hope thats all it is + not hurt the check again!!!! the farrier did cut him a bit too short (+ i will be shopping around for a new 1!) he was supposed to be going to a show this weekend, + obvioulsy now cant, but its such a shame, he is lookin fantastic + he loves to go showing!! i feel like s**t i dont want him to have to go through box rest again! he hates it!!nok, winge over!! thanks for making it this far!!
