15yo Pony has arthritic changes in hocks, hind suspensory issues and has had sacroilliac medicated. He is a very happy hacker and has been on Feedmarks Best Flex HA for several years. Whilst this containd Boswelia I am just wondering if add Devils Claw would be an option too ? Having spoken to Feedmarks nutritionist last year they told be the levels of Boswelia in the Best Flex was equal to feeding if feeding Boswelia supplement separately so basically no need to.

But I am conscious of over supplementing and just wondered if the extra DC would help him be more comfortable ?

I see Feedmark do have a DC supplement but I thought I'd ask for personal experiences on H&H first .. and best DC option ?
Thank you

I feed my oldie Hilton Herbs Devils Claw. It works well for her. She's retired though. We do have a Danilon prescription but she got very funny about eating it. I've never fed Boswelia, so can't compare. Sorry, not very helpful, but hopefully now I've bumped your post, you'll get some better answers!

Reading recommendations on previous threads I have just ordered some Riaflex Boswellia for B who is on a sachet of Danilon every day for mild hock arthritis. I am going to trial it using them on alternate days as he still struggles a bit going downhill. While I was there is also got some Flex HA for me because I creak a bit now. It will be the first time I’ve tried anything natural but I don’t want to keep taking Ibuprofen all the time and it would lovely to be free of low grade pain for a change. I’m hoping to be leaping and running around like a 20year old in a few weeks and riding a boingy bouncy pony ?
