devils claw and wormers, any problems using both?

Hi,

One of my horses is on devils claw and I would like to worm both of mine with the pancur 5 day treatment. Is there any reason why I could/should not do this while he is on devils claw?

One of my boys is on devil's claw and I've never had a problem worming him at the same time.

I have never had a problem with any wormer including Panacur and mine is on Devil's Claw, but if I'm totally honest, I've never really thought about if there might be a problem! Does it say you shouldn't use it with Devil's Claw?

No, I'm just a neurotic mum! I checked contraindications and the only real one that I could see was it can cause uterine contractions so in advisable with pregnant mares. I am just tuned into asking the question myself of any drug because I am on prescription meds and I have to check everything 'just in case' I am on anti epileptic drugs (very well controlled) but some of the random things I cant take are anti depressants, including st johns wort and also heart burn and indigestion stuff. So just wanted to check, would have hated to have given it to him and then found out that there was a big 'no no' attached to administering the 2 at the same time.

Nope. My boy is on Devils claw and has had all sorts of wormers and never had any probs.x

Our pony is on devil's claw and has been wormed with Equest and Equest Pramox with no problems.
