yesterday i had 2 guys from my village come and warn me, they had challenged 4 guys,

all irish, one with a gingery mohecian (sp) driving a silver transit, they took the reg and reported to police, the guys were trying to access land, and asking about land and horsies, (theres now a rather large log in place in the field)

it turns out that they had also been sniffing around a property and a guy that has a garage had caught them and they went on to ask about scrap metal.

this is exeter, area.

ive noticed on another forum, theres the same discription, with a variation on the trannie, they were seen in a grey discovery. this was upcountry.

Thank you, will also be keeping an eye out. Whilst out riding a week or so ago I was asked by some lads (who didn't look horsey at all) if I knew of anywhere they could keep a horse around the area. I just said no, I didn't know of anywhere, but being extra vigilent at the moment as thought they could be on the look out for tack, trailers, etc.

it may be un related but i also asked a lady and a kid (very rough looking) to not go near the horses, (it was a friends horses down from me,.) red car, i took no notice of it really,

the guy that owns one of my fields, told me yesterday he has traverllers set up on land behind him.

Yes, we saw them too, very dodgy looking. My horses are just a couple of minutes away from there.
