Before anyone yells at me my vet doesn't open till 9am . My dog has just snapped her dew claw. It's half hanging off. She doesn't seem to be lame (yet) is there anything I can do in the meantime till vet opens ? Thanks x
If it is just the nail, snip it off at the break & dunk the claw into flour (unless you have trimmex or similar) to stem the bleeding.
If it is the toe behind the nail you need a vet.
