Have found these at a very good price on the Farm Care website - they are UK spec and look pretty robust. I only wan to clip a couple of horses so it seems a bit extravagant to buy a new set of Hauptner clippers.

I have a set and I really like them. I clipped about 8 horses with them last year and have just done 2 this year so far and they've been great. They are a bit noisier than other brands Iv used but I managed to clip my nervous boy with them so not bad.

Hi, i've got these too which I bought of of e-bay, I clipped two horses last year with them and have just done my very nervous mare with them this year, no problems and sailed through the clip. I would recco them.

They "are what they are"!! Cheap clippers made in China, with cheap Chinese blades. Expect from them what you pay for them, then you will never be disappointed! As a wise man once said, "there is an arse for every saddle"! As long as you are aware what you are paying for, you cant really go wrong can you...?

I have some too

And I have also have the heiniger handy ( now broken and too expensive to repair ), off which they are copied.

They are as far as I can see identical, possibly slightly noisier, but for the money saved not much.

I have now had them a year, how long they last... we shall see.

I had the heiniger mended the first time for £80 two years ago, the repair lasted a year, and so I thought it would be cheaper to give these ago, especially as they came with new sharp blades, (and my heiniger blades also fit), than having the heniger repaired again.
