Diagnosing hoof problems

Hi having a problem working out whether my horse has a problem with her hooves. I think she has her hooves are normally good but when I got her in from her field the other day her feet were crumbling and almost spongy in texture towards the coronet on the outside. I was wondering what it was

hum.. Its very dry at the minute which can cause feet to be brittle and crumbly. Hoofmoist from NAF is great for dry feet. Also, if she is out at grass, she may be lackinggi n some vits and mins so adding a supplement may help.

Your best bet would be to speak to your farrier as he will know best!
