Diagnosing kidney problems... how would this be done...

Just wondering if any kind soul can help me here...

Horse basically has a few issues... one thing that could possibly be the cause of it is kidneys not working properly.

Vet is coming out shortly for a few bits, just wondering what the first stages in testing to see if its kidney problems would be. Blood test?

First test is usually a blood test

A blood test will enable the vet to test kidney function, probably worth doing.
