William didnt feel that the horse was up for a three star and that someone else should have the ride on him. The Hows initially asked Francis Whittington to ride him but he had two or three at the time already at that level and didnt feel it would be fair to current owners so suggested Chris. However after a good round at hartpury, the horse pulled up lame from a gallop the day before going to Blenheim and had damaged a knee quite severly. I believe he is still at Chris Kings while he is recovering. The Hows are hoping he can be got right enough for their daughter (who initally rode the horse) to do some low level eventing on.
 
Thanks for your reply. I knew the Hows some years ago and went to see the horse run with William at Tweseldown in 2005 - I think they had great hopes for him. Hope that he comes right for them and B can ride him again.
