Did anyone’s horses NOT enjoy 24/7 turnout?

Yes, mine loves his stable. He’s a PRE imported from Spain 5 years ago, so I assume he’s spent a lot of time stabled. He’s happy to be turned out for 5 - 7 hours a day, and will even go out all night in the summer, but at the first sign of windy, wet weather he’s at the gate shouting to come in and will drag me back to his stable.

My PREs have all been happy in or out but my current warmblood is more like this . He did go out at night for a while in summer but as soon as the weather started to cool down and get damper he wanted to be in. He now stands by his gate after an hour of being out and would happily stay in all day - he's definitely not an all-seasons horse!
