Did anyone buy a HH subscription at Badminton?

I signed up for a postal subscription to HH at Badminton this year. So far I've not received any emails or letter telling me when it will start, and the direct debit mandate has not been received by the bank so far.

I phoned IPC after 2 weeks, they had no record of it but said leave it another couple of weeks and then ring again? Apparently they hold onto the applications until they get a batch of them? (Although I would have thought Badders would generate enough subscriptions to make a decent batch??)

Anyone else had any experience of this? I'm having to buy HH at the newsagents each week and have no idea when my subscription might start...

No but I did stop my subscription because it came one or two days late every week :-(

No but I have subscribed to another weekly magazine at a show and it took a couple of months for it to start. They blamed it on sheer number of new subscribers signing up at the show. Once things got started everything went smoothly
