did anyone ride today?

I haven't ridden since Wednesday

School is under blanket of snow, driveway to yard is ice. If we don't get any more snow tonight I will possibly try and get my older boy out tomorrow on the roads which are fairly busy and well used, not risking the 3.5yr old as he's a bit special with his legs anyway! THanksfully new hay delivery made it through yesterday so we are turning out again now at least, they had two days in Thurs and Fri.

can't today because I am at stupid work and am really cross about it. Humph.

Had a lovely hack, was only at a walk, but was great!

Thank goodness for indoor school! Otherwise not a chance. The exciting bit was getting to the indoor school. No salt been provided by our YO yet

We were out in the woods - nice deep snow - three horses - all barefoot - didn't slide once, even on the bits the mountain bikers had helpfully polished - did about 7 miles.

No, horribly icy - the lanes are under 2 inches of ice that's like glass.....

Rode in the school yesterday, surface a bit firm but we did all we normally do, one stumble but nothing to do with ice, hacked out for a couple of hours today, yes it was cold yes it was quite slippy in places, but he has 4 legs and we even had a few good canters along the river and across the park, biggest problem was BMX event with noises and arsehole driver who couldn't wait one bloody minute for me to get off the slippy road at the roadworks onto the cycle track, pillock trying to sqeeze past me, EVERYONE else but him were patient, so pretty normal ride all in all except only one other person rode as far as I know fom aout yard.

One of mine is at livery so rode in the snow-school. It used to be a sand school !!!!!
