Did anyone watch Express eventing on sky on fri?

As the title says really, just wondering who watched it and what your thoughts on it were.

I was there on the day and i have to say it looks slightly less scary on the tv than it did in the flesh but i wish they had shown a bit more of the dressage on sky.

I watched the last hour so missed all the dressage.

I thought it looked like a good concept but that they were asking some very technical questions in the XC phase without the riders having time to balance the horses before the next question.

These riders face this level of technical questions in a normal XC but they have a lot longer between jumps to re-settle the horse.

I hope they do continue with this event but just sort out the XC phase a bit better.
 
I was there too! I thought i was really interesting to be so close and feel so involved in such a challenging event. At least at big events yyou see just one or two fences at a time, giving you time to recover before the next one. I though it was really intense at Cardiff.
