it was abit! but when you put the horses name in the google search bar it came up with the post so wouldn't have been hard to find either. it was all abit fishy
Charlie55 texted the present owner to enquire & that is how she was aware it was on here. Then she registered & came on once to put her case across.
I can't believe how suspicious everyone is!
I once went on an ebay forum to defend my case about a bad buyer having been directed to do so by ebay after being told there was nothing they could do about it. It was quite similar to this actually & ended up pages long & buyer came on & denied what I was saying.
Lots of people took sides & accused me of lying! It was awful, especially as I wasn't.
The OP came on and told us the horse's name & that he was 18 when she sold him last October. His BE record is in line with what she says.
What the seller is saying is that his name is the same, but he's 14 according to her vet & that he's sound according to her.
I dont think it was any sort of Scam at all. When i first asked her about the horse and if she would except alot less for him she went off on one thinking i was the previous owner pretending to be someone else, and she clearly said, there's nothing that can be done, your the one that sold a horse illegally, so if you want to ruin the sell of this horse then do so, i recently sold another horse and he is now living better then i am, which is when she said if she cant get £3000 for him he will be going for meat for £500.
She was pretty annoyed so i dont think it was a scam at all.
Im cr@p at detective work but id really say no, by the things she was saying about her. The way it came across to me is she got a horse for £200, straight away realised he was special, selling it for more money, previous owner is P*ssed off she made money out of her.
I dont think its right in any way because the horse does look too stiff to be jumping that height, just the way it came across from the seller. x
He's not far from me & if I could afford it, I'd rescue him. Thing is that gives the dishonest seller what she wants (ie. money) & won't stop her from doing it again in the future.
I dont understand it anyway, but if it was a scam it makes even less sense! Who were they trying to scam?? If their purpose was to wind up all of us forum users I guess they are very idiotic with a particularly warped sense of humour! And I think all of our concern (and 9 pages of postings!!) was directed towards the welfare of the horse. I just can't see what anyone could gain/get out of that situation. If it was a wind up, they definatley have too much time on their hands! If it wasn't then it sounds as the horse does need to be sold, because the last two owners the poor creature has had have been particularly cr*ppy! He just needs to be sold honestly and with his injuries and age disclosed to any seller. You're right l-dancer, if the seller does get away with this then she will see illegally frauding paperwork and decieving sellers as a quick way to make a prophit. Just SO confused with it all!!
