Hello,
My mare is 18/19 year old never been prone to laminitis ever ! Until I got the steroid injection on the 25th May. The vet said put her straight out the next day. I thought it was a little harsh for that so I turned her out 27th instead. I rode her on the Saturday 29th May for 5-10 mins, very light work and she was perfect. I turned her straight back out, gave her a day off the next day. Brought her in from field on the Monday....she was dog lame kn all 4 legs, she has been in ever since with a nice fluffy compacted bed and soaked hay. She is now very stiff on back legs as she's been stuck in but better with the laminitis as its gone. Do we all think that she got told to be out out to soon?
