Oh I know - don't take me too seriously!

Compared to some boards, this one is an oasis of Zen-like tranquility.

I once got banned from another forum, just for mentioning that a pair of breeches I'd tried on were a bit too snug!

I'm used to being an oddball so being an outcast doesn't particularly bother me

The forum is big enough that you'll always find someone who listens, and the advice can be quite good at times too! Very educational and informatitive

I have to admit it was worrying when I realised I was logging onto HHO before I even checked my emails!

I'm sure the novelty will wear off eventually, although who knows I might join the lofty ranks of the Carpal/Tunnels if I'm not careful!

Didnt join as don't have a horse. And although the centre membership has come in, I would have been the only member of my age group so shied away from it

The Best branches are those who cater for all interests and disciplines. The one I was in was very eventing orientated and couldn't or wouldn't take an interest in jumping or showing so I affiliated in both and left. Children now in PC and while it's a great institution it doesn't cater for kids who are competent at a relatively young age. Elder child passed D+ at seven and a half but can't take another test till he's 12, even though he's desperate to do something.

The one and only time that Me and Pony attended a rally, Pony laid down on the ground after half an hour's schooling, closed his eyes and pretended to be dead. He kept pretending to be dead long after the Scary Instructor had yelled in his ear, done a war dance round him and smacked him several times with a crop.(He was quite good at being dead, he used to do it at the farriers as well). After the whole rally had disappeared into the next field to have a go at the jumps, I hopped on Pony and we scuttled off home as fast as we could, never to return...

Gala that is funny, he he, poor ponio!
Personally i love PC, although i am getting a bit old for it now at 21! I really want to go to camp this year, do you think I'm too old? (Ps: I am serious!). I didn't get my own horse until I was 18 so missed out on all the pony clubbing as i was growing up. I do agree some members are rather spoilt and snooty but most people are friendly and down to earth where I go.

I didn't have a pony, but my daughter joined the Morpeth a year ago and has made lots of new friends, they do loads of activities and it is well organised, her riding (and confidence) has improved dramatically.
