Did You See This ...... And What Happened To The Pony?

LMAO. That's one good pony, I think my horse would blow a fuse if I took her to the platform of a train station!! Looks like a dear, sweet little thing. Lets hope the guy was having a laugh and nothing untoward happened after.

Hum. Have to say it's crossed my mind a couple of times when I had a very quiet sensible small pony who would have loved a train trip :o Same for a bus trip. Would have much easier than having to beg and borrow transport.....

(I wouldn't have actually tried it mind;) )

Oh what a shame. It seems to me the guy while having mental health issues does love the pony and doesn't want to be parted from him.
I hope someone helps them and not just separates them

Amazed that he was actually sold a ticket in the first place - and that no one stopped him on the way to the platform!

When I was at Uni, a friend of a friend who lived on a farm outside town would hack her pony in to town to the vet to save on call-out fees.
One day the vet was running late and she had to get to lectures and needed somewhere to leave the pony, so my friend said she could put him in their back garden. Problem is, there was no access to the back garden from the street, so they had to bring the pony through the house!
Cue one very well-behaved 14.2 being carefully led through the entrance hall and kitchen and out into the garden, and then back out a few hours later! I must say, it was a bizarre sight, this pony happily munching overgrown grass in the back yard of a student house :)

Oh bless it I hope they are both ok. I have to say one of mine (small pony) would happily get on a train and travel. Its how they went in the olden days! Although not in the passenger section obviously.

Bless him!
What made me giggle was that he thought the pony wasn't allowed on the train because he hadn't bought it a ticket!!! :D
I do hope they don't get seperated. Pony must trust the man a hell of a alot to stand on the platform so calmly and the man obviously dotes on the pony, it looks well cared for.

D :D

If this is the Mid Wales Railway Line then there was nothing unusual for animals to travel on the train to and from the markets years ago. Welsh Mountain Ponies would happily travel on the trains. Under the Beeching plan they attempted to close the line but it went through so many marginal contituencies that they did not adre to close it.
