Blimey - a litre!!! Sounds like a drench job because if you did it with an old wormer tube, ned would probably refuse to play after the first tube-ful. How a layman gives a drench to a horse though is beyond me. Probably as Nari says, divine intervention! Just a thought, pepto bismol says belly ache to me. You can get a jumbo sized Coligone tube in the next day's post - sticky and aniseed flavoured but I bet would have the same effect as a litre of pb. It's truly magic. Good luck x
Thanks Nari and BOF. The horse has come home from the vets needing a litre twice a day, I know when the vet did it the first time she did tube her which of course I cant do. I see that it can be bought as tablets so think I will phone the vets today to see if I can use those instead.
Just to let you know that I collected a 60ml syringe from the vets and the first dose is done - phew not too bad at all - fortunately neddy is very well behaved.
