Diesel Damage

So it's bad news. Car is broken because of contaminated diesel I bought from Tesco on Saturday. Is £210 repair bill plus the loss of 70 litres of fuel (& missed show jumping!)Anyone else had any problems? You have been warned!

Quick tell me the garage!! I think I'll fill the wagon!

Look at this way, make sure you get the garage reports etc, last time everyone got paid a fair whack plus the lost fuel.
Don't forget loss of earnings, and claim for the mileage others have had to drive you, in fact anything you can think of!!!
 
The customer care person was quite helpful but I think it'll be a fight as nothing in the local press about it. Garage said that when they have cars with fuel problems it's usually tesco to blame. Interestingly tesco have a fuel claims team - tells you something. Would be good to find other people who've been affected. BBC Look East reported problems in Cambridge a couple of weeks ago.
 
I stopped buying fuel from Tesco because my car really does not like it

join the club!! my 4x4 runs on their diesel o.k *touches wood* but my car will not run properly on their petrol, i use shell now.....
