My little foal is grown up - but hasn't made the height, and is definitely more of a pony in looks and attitude, than a horse.
She is a delightful, curious, confident cob. Having always had proper horses who needed lots of groundwork, I can't quite get my head around her training. She loves hacking, can't see the point of schooling or groundwork, but I would like a safe pony before doing too much hacking.

Thoughts please!

Ponies seem to prefer games where they need to figure things out. Put random poles on the ground crisscrossing and lead her over so she can figure out where her feet go. Maybe set up a mini "assault course" with scary objects, things to go under, over, through, narrow passageways etc. Maybe some things that make noise when she goes by.

This.
Ponies do like to 'see the point' of what they are doing. They may offer their own solutions too ;) - oh and a sense of humour is essential
