My last bag was quite fibery whereas this one is really quite powdery, with not as many stalky bits in. However my friend had one that was not far off all powder with only a few fibery/stalky bits... should there be this much variation

???

And which is better for them nutritionally do you know??

Our last bag was all powdery. We had a joke about sweeping up the Alfa A factory before the xmas holidays - not good though, is it? I would think the fibrey stuff is better - that's what you buy it for, after all

Yes they have. But she is going to send me a sample bag thingy as they want to investigate it. They said due to the wet weather the crops are more leafy, which is the more nutritious part apparently, so it won't be doing any harm, but by the sounds of it, this isn't the first person to have said this.

I wasn't complaining, just interested to see the difference in nutrition etc really!

My lad was on it when I first got him and it was fairly sticky, fed my mates horse who was on it and was convinced she was just feeding redi grass as her alfa a oil was extreamly dry and dusty!

Lucky me I found a extra addition in my bag today..........................................a massive rubber band (I guess some sort of drive belt

I used to use Alfa oil but found each bag to be different! I got to the point where I was feeding oily dust so changed to Balieys Alfalfa Blend I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!! It smells soooooooo nice and all my neds lick their buckets clean so I think they like it too oh and its cheaper

I found some clumps of mould in my bag of Alfa A a while ago. I complained and Dengie sent me a voucher for £30 and an apology!
It's the only time I have ever had a problem with Dengie products but I was impressed with their customer service I must say.
