He went to his first competition today at some unaffiliated show jumping.
This is the first tme he has been out, first time he has jumped a course and first time indoors-so a lot to take in!!

He was excited at first and just wanted to gallop around the warm up with all the other ponies wizzing around, so had to try and hang on for about 10mins!! But he soon settled and once got him trotting around he was very well behaved even when i was trying to avoid the children flying around in all directions!!

He felt amazing jumping over the practise fences so i was very happy. I had entered him in the 2ft3 it had veyer short distances in the doubles (which i have never jumped him through before) he was fantastic we did a mixture of trotting and cantering and it was tight and twisty and had lots of fillers and he was absolutely perfect a bit wigly here and there (as to be expected) but jumped a lovely clear!! I am so happy!
I didnt do the jump off as he had been so good and didnt want to overdo it.

It was really good to meet Madhector and Jerry also.

Shall put piccys in gallery ASAP

Hey, well done you

It's a fantastic feeling when things go well, I felt the same after i'd taken Boo to do dressage last weekend, he'd never been indoors before either and I was so chuffed with him.

Rock on for the next party then

I am thanks, very very pleased!!
Stupid pilot went right instead of left over after the first fence but it didnt unsettle him to stop him and turn him around.
He was far better once he had jumped the first 3 fences, and he took the double and the dog leg so well
