I currently have a loan horse who is safe as houses but too safe & ploddy for my liking and my daughter has 9yr old 14h pony which she does everything on. (she would never sell) Do I buy a 15'2 for me 5-8 yrs as a forward hack and look at schooling further for daughter or something which is more experienced for her to move onto. Is it realistic that you can actually share a horse? mum to hack & daughter to compete? Can you buy for both? or does it really mess with horses head? Small budget up to 2500
thoughts please

its totally realistic you can share with your daughter!! me and my mum do it and we have very different requirements. she wants a ploddy hack, i want something i can compete, have a great time on and bring on. and our horse clearly knows the difference between us. He'll be speedy and work properly for me and a total plod 4 her. no idea how she gets him to plod!!!!!

so go for it, its also great for family bonding.
