Have more or less been offered a horse to 'have' for myself to bring on. Finer points would need discussing if I felt that I could take it on.

It is a young horse of competition breeding, that with some time and effort would be fab in all ways. I am capable of helping him to reach his potential and would really love to do it.

BUT... as much as my heart says yes, my head is saying no. I have other young promising horses/ponies, and have smaller outgrown ponies to sell on, but I was cutting numbers and not replacing after sale ( have limited grazing). I would be replacing little uns with a big un, and I cant justify moving on any of the others just so that I can have him.

Out side views appreciated.

I think if you have any doubts I would say no, however hard that may be. I think with animals you have to let your head rule you're heart xx
