Dilemma!!

wot to do... i have had a horse on loan now for 3 months totally love him to bits but he has a few issues that rnt goin to go away.. spoke to owner who said she would find him another loan home my friend said she wud have him owner says fine... now i cnt bare to part with him i love him so much but i know he isnt mine and probs never will b i want something younger that i can do more with but am i being selfish or what iv bin cryin my eyes out today after owner came to look at where he would be goin when he does go! my friend will let me go up and ide him etc but i feel like im thinkin of me not the horse!

How is it selfish to think of you? you're the one who has to ride & care for it and if you're not happy then it looks to me like you've done the responsible thing. You've found him a new home, with someone you know AND the owner is happy - doesn't work out too often like this so you need to give yourself a pat on the back and start looking for a horse that suits YOU.

not temp issues hes perfect in every way its his health he stumbles and has cushings he needs a quiet hacking life and i want to do more my friend wants a confidence giving hack which he is im dreadin looking for another its soo hard to find the right one!

Don't look on it as a loss, he will be better suited with the life your friend can offer, look on it as an opportunity for you to move onto something else that will move you forward. Good luck with your search, and it will be ok, you are doing the right thing for you and your horse.
