Oh I feel so jumbled up and need some opinions..........
Several weeks ago I moved the skanky tbs to a new livery yard. Have been really happy there but a couple of weeks ago we were told that we wouldn't be getting the grazing that we'd been promised and had to stay on the fields the horses had been grazing all winter which are pretty bare.
As the owner of three big boys, good grazing is a big thing for me. Horses are still in at night which although it's killing me, I'm persevering with. The other problem is that everytime it rains the horses are kept in. The problem is that I work full time so have to decide first thing and I can't be popping up and down as it's a good 25 min journey.
Two of the boys cope ok with this tooing and froing but one is getting really wound up kicking the walls and trashing his bed walking round and round his stable, he's also pulled something his neck chucking himself around.
This morning I was up the yard at 5:45am and the weather was fine so I chucked them out having seen the weather forecast as showers yesterday, it's now lagging it down and I feel I'm going to get it in the neck later.
I just don't know what to do. The yard is lovely, the hacking fantastic but with the turnout problems and distance I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it.............but the thought of moving again makes me want to cry.
What do you think??
