I've been looking at grazing muzzles for my IR pony. Can anyone give any feedback on the Dinky Rugs grazing muzzle? I understand that holes are to the sides of the muzzle in line with the mouth.

Before I order one, it would be useful to have some feedback. The Shires one wasn't suitable.

Thanks.

I bought one as a standby incase little man (the mini) ever needed one. Theyre good, if the fit is right. beware that they do come up very small. I bought a small pony one for a mini shettie and it wouldnt even go over his nose, much to his delight... lol

They do come up small size wise, but are quite tough

love them! our shetland has the small pony one, and mums ISH has the full size one.
never rub, lots of room for adjustment but i dont find them that tough???? shetland has worked out how to slightly twist the bottom of his so he gradually wear through one piece of it over the course of the summer, so i have to replace it every year. big horse is not so cunning so his is still fine!!!

i dont mind that, as they are SO much better than the shires or greenguard ones and not that expensive at all, one per year is fine by me to know that he's comfy.

Brilliant! All three shetlands on our yard have them, i really like the design and the fleece lining. They fit really well and have had no rubs. I wouldn't have any others now, the shires ones rubbed their faces raw.

I have just bought dinky muzzles, the shires ones are working but I liked the look of the dinky being light weight, padded etc, however the holes seem to be at the sides unlike the hole in the centre on the bucket types, did anyone find their pony had a problem with this.

My Shettie has been wearing his for a couple of hours every day for the past week and hasn't yet worked out how to get the grass lol! On the other hand the NF has worked out how to twist his to the side so he can take bigger mouthfuls! He now has a bright pink Roma.
